Live Online Event
Science Goes to the Movies Trivia Night

Wednesday, October 27, 2021, 8:30 p.m.
Eastern Daylight Time (GMT-4)

Live online event co-hosted by Science Friday and Museum of the Moving Image

Join us for a special virtual event: Science Goes to the Movies Trivia Night with SciFri and MoMI! We’ve concocted a nerdy night of movie magic that’s part science-y facts, part dance party, and part spooky movie romp, just for you.

This virtual event is for anyone looking to bring together friends and family, or bravely play solo, to win ultimate bragging rights (plus some great prizes!)—and let’s just say it wouldn’t hurt to invite that teammate who has seen Contact more times than they can count.

Plus: Because we’re so close to Halloween, come dressed up in your favorite science movie character (Mark Watney in The Martian, Marie Curie in Radioactive, the sky’s the limit) and you might just win an extra point for your team!

We’ll announce the winner at the end of trivia night who will win a prize box filled with SciFri and MoMI goodies that we’ll send to you in the mail!

The event takes place live online beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET. An email will be sent to you 24 hours in advance with a link to join. Note: trivia will be hosted on YouTube and players will be able to interact with others through the chat function. We suggest playing on a computer, as you’ll need to watch the livestream while entering trivia answers via form submission.
