FREE OUTDOOR EVENT
Cook Out the Vote Party

Saturday, October 23, 2021, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Museum of the Moving Image - Kaufman Courtyard (37th Street Entrance)

Cook Out the Vote is a non-partisan voter’s rights organization that’s been making democracy delicious by throwing parties during elections. While nationally the fundamental constitutional right of voting is currently being threatened, Cook Out the Vote cherishes community by celebrating and encouraging the voting process with vibrant, festive events full of food from local restaurants and performances by local musicians. Museum of the Moving Image is teaming up with Cook Out the Vote for a free outdoor event as a nice break for early voters, poll workers, and everyone to enjoy delicious bites from Queens Bakehouse, Djerdan Burek, and Phayul, local music (featuring Noa Fort, Niall Connolly, Justin Rothberg), and a scavenger hunt for young Museum visitors!

Please note: The Museum is serving as an early voting poll site, October 23–31 (check for your poll site here); enter through the west side of the building (near the Kaufman Astoria Studios gate).
