Live Online Event
MoMI Teen Film Festival 2021

Saturday, April 24, 2021, 5:30 p.m.

Please join us for the first online MoMI Teen Film Festival, celebrating the work of young New York City filmmakers. Hosted and curated by MoMI's Teen Council, this festival showcases the visions, experiences, media art, and reflections of teens living in NYC during and prior to the pandemic. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the filmmakers.

Beginning in March, the Museum’s Teen Council invited New Yorkers aged 14–19 to submit work for the event. Entry categories included, but were not limited to: Fiction, New Non-Fiction, Documentary, Music Videos, and Experimental.

Free with RSVP. A link will be sent by email to view the live program online. (It takes place live on Saturday, April 24, at 5:30 p.m. ET.)

While this event is free, we hope you will consider supporting the Museum with a donation. MoMI's staff is working hard to fulfill its mission via remote programming. This comes with opportunities to experiment but also profound challenges. Your support is critical to ensure our work remains vital and visible to a broad public. Suggested donation: $10. Donate here.
